Good Morning World

So it is Friday Again!!!! Going to be a busy one. Well we hope anyway. Where do you start when you have a house that looks like Godzilla threw up in it and there is no motivation. Then tonight we have to load the van and take our Scentsy stuff to Edgewood High and set it up for the craft show tomorrow. Ugh, I think I want to head to bed now hahhahaha.

On a good note Janice's grand-daughter is coming today!!!!! Mom is being induced and I can't wait for little Hailey Erin Rochelle Chisenhall to enter the world. I hope she brings Janice a lot of distraction and many blessings. It is not fair to expect so much from one so little but if anyone needs it right now it is Janice. The Holidays being around the corner and her anniversary, is making this a very hard time for her :(

And this is why I am not complicated enough to blog. I love life at it's slowest.....

It is getting cold outside.

This year has just been kinda Topsy Tervie. In some ways it has flown by and in other ways it has been one of those years that drags.

We added our first grandson to the family . He is just Delicious, Damon Mathew (named after his uncle that passed a year ago). He is now 5 months. He can light up a room with his gummy smile.

Our Granddaughter Delilah turned 3 and Emelie turned 1. That Delilah is 3 going on 30. She is a hoot for sure. Emelie is sweet and all about food. She cracks me up.

We have been so blessed with those three that is for sure!!!!

Then this year we lost Earl to his brave fight with Cancer. It started right before Thanksgiving last year. He was diagnosed with lung cancer which then spread to his pelvis, bones, and brain. We thought he had it licked in May when his tests showed he beat those and had gone into remission!!!! But it was short lived. 3 weeks later they found spinal cancer. They gave him 2 months. He passed in 20 days. We made it there in time for David to be be there for Earl. It was the first time I have actually seen someone pass. I think God was definitely there for Earl and me. I have this thing about seeing dead people.

I have been to plenty of funerals. I just do not look. I was 10 when my great grandfather passed and 16 when my great grandmother passed. Back then we where Catholic and the crying and sobbing gave you a migraine for days. And as a kid what are you supposed to do with those images. Ugh not good. So I have gone to other funerals since then and I have just tried to avoid looking.

But when you are there to see someone pass. I can only hope that they go peacefully. I still miss him every minute of every day. He was such a strong man. And his wife Janice is on my mind every day. I cannot imagine the pain she is going through. We were both young when we married and have been married to the same husband for almost 30 years. This has hit her hard. I hope when the new baby comes (which should be any day now) that that little girl will give her something to keep her preoccupied,

It is dark and gloomy outside and I think I am feeling like that on the inside. I feel weepy today :(

Really Me Blogging?

Ok so it was suggested that I start to blog. My response, mmmmmm Really? I have a really boring life and live vicariously through others. So if this makes you think what the ..... You can send all of your thank you notes to Susan M. Kopp. She is the responsible party for this lame (oh don't under estimate me) blog.

 So here goes:
I am a 45 year old wife to David for 27 years. Mother of two of two gorgeous daughters Jillian Marie Rom (age 25) married to Randy for 4 years come February . Melissa Anne Eldridge (age 22) married to Nathan Eldridge for 2 years in September.

Both of my girls now have families of their own. Jill has 2 daughters. Delilah is age 3 and Emelie is 1. Melissa is the proud mother of Damon age 4 months. I just love being a grandmother. It is the best of all worlds :)

I really have not had a very exciting life the last few years (well crazy but not exciting). I find I just enjoy any day where anything that goes wrong can be fixed by five hundred dollars or less. I sometimes wonder why? I know, I know we all wonder that but I could cry someone a river with WHY ME DEAR LORD?????

In other ways I think THANK YOU LORD FOR LETTING IT BE ME!!!!!!! Life can be funny that way sometimes. Sometimes all in one day.

I was born in Geissen Germany to a mom who was born in Hungry. She was born to a mother was sick her whole life with Leukemia and a father who was Jewish and from Palestine.  My grand father spent two years in Auschwitz  because Hitler thought he was better than us. I never new my grand-parents personally. My grand-mother died 10 years before I was born. MY grand-father died 2 years after I was born. My grand-parents where actually my great grand- parents. They raised my Mom her whole life because her mom was so sick. My mother is a miracle herself. She was born in 1941 at home and only weighed 1 lb. She made a bed for her out of cotton and a shoe box. No incubators or other equipment for her. Only an eye dropper to feed her with and around the clock love and care from her gran-parents. The Dr. who came to her mothers funeral was astounded to find out she had survived. Now that is a very interesting life. My biological father (the sperm doner) is from is from Czechoslovakia. He still lives is Germany.  My mother divorced him when I was 6 months old. Good ridance if you ask me.

My mother met my father and married him when I was 18 months old. I am very lucky to have a father who chose me to be his daughter. I count myself very lucky with the parents I have. And yes I am quite spoiled. :) I have an older brother and sister but was raised as an only child. My brother and sister grew up with their father. Man did I dodge a bullet there!!!!!

I grew up as a military brat. Attended military schools and moved a lot. But I love that I can say I have seen most of Europe and went to school there, Met my husband when I was a DJ (stop choking and laughing so hard you may hurt something hahhaha) in the NCO club in Germany. Got engaged there. And had my oldest daughter there.
